Orae – “Sightlines”

From the Bad Panda Bandcamp: “Alexandrina EP is the debut four track EP from Berlin-based electronic/acoustic band Orae, the musical project of Geordie Little, Sam Rogers, Scott Van Manen and Jian Kellett Liew.”

This EP is gorgeous, well-crafted, subtle and tricky. The lead vocals are gentle and sensitive but carried by the moving rhythms and guitar lines. This probably won’t be for everyone but I would recommend it to fans of James Blake or Massive Attack.
